During ISF, visitors can shop 40 days and 40 nights for special discounts, up to 50%, on new collections. Tourists enjoy tax-free shopping as well as heavy discounts on a wide range of items.

The aims of ISF initiative are to attract 1,5 million tourists to Istanbul by the ISF 2015, while contributing to Istanbul's 10 million tourist goal in 2015, and to stimulate retails sales to reach USD10 billion by the centennial of Turkey founding in 2023.

Turkish Airlines is a major supporter of ISF and is offering visitors special fares and considers increasing travelers' baggage allowance during the festival.
